Microsoft Extends Installation Date For Windows 8.1 Update 1

Recently, Microsoft announced that the company has extended the deadline for installing the Windows 8.1 update 1 by 30 days for the existing Windows 8 users. So, the users who haven’t still upgraded to Windows 8.1 will get the next patch updates along with the main update. The “Update 1” for Windows 8.1 is focused on making the operating system more user-friendly and simpler for the users.

When Windows 8 was launched around two years ago, many users did not know how to upgrade to Windows 8. Issues like these heavily affected on the sales of the operating system and made users to rely on the older versions. In order to give them more time, the company has extended the install date for Update 1 of Windows 8.1 by 30 days.
